OK everybody, Rolo Tomassi is back, the other bands can go home ... Seriously, Time Will Die is one of my favorite albums of all time and Rolo are in a whole different league than everyone else. I'm riding with this band forever and this song fucking rules. Is this a teaser for the new LP or a standalone? Both? New LP when? Soon? Please? God I love this so much. Rolo Tomassi forever ♥.

lyrics
Ticking through decades, impaired and unchanged
Move in the space between where decisions were made
Is it too much to live with this?
The worst of it still growing
Claim, channel, define by one distraction
Ruled without intention, some days I felt that burden
Is it too much to live with this?
The worst of it still growing
What lies beyond the end of this? Wait for it
Screaming on the outside looking in
Longing for the simplicity of nothing
To bend without breaking when chances are slim
Locked in this rhythm, locked in this ruling
Screaming on the outside looking in
Longing for the simplicity of nothing
To bend without breaking when chances are slim
Longing for the list of things I’m losing
This album hits like a ton of bricks. I can't say how long it's been since a band reached me like this, but I can't get enough. The driving rhythm, the ghostly floating leads, the haunting and direct lyrics, the desperation in her voice... Powerful. Jaycee
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
